Linkert MR3 Racing Carb 1940-1945

The MR3 racing carburetor did not have a choke disc or lever and could be used on several models. The Linkert blueprint showed the throttle lever in the pictures. The carb could be fitted with any air cleaner or snoot should the type of racing require one. The MR series also did not use the usual main nozzle spring and fuel bowl nut to secure it in place, instead it used a short spring and a threaded plug to secure it in place. The MR3 had a double or duel venturi often called or referred to as a Bombsite vernturi.  The MR3 carburetor bodies could be printed silver in 1940-43' and black in 1944-45'.
